I took this buck half hour(around 5:35 pm) after getting in my stand the first time hunting a  new spot.

Bill Peterson (duckbill)
Attached is a photo of my 14 year old son Joseph with his first deer.
He shot it with a crossbow on our farm on only his second time out in the
woods this year.  The head is at the taxidermist and will soon be on the wall
next to the 1998 buck that I took from our farm.  JB aka HonkerBonker
Great web site Mark!
I am a duck hunter first, but try to get in the tree stand a couple of times
a year.  I was blessed this season on my second time out.

Captain Mark,
Here are two fine Ohio Bucks killed by my co-workers last week during gun season.
The one the boy is showing in the back of the truck  was killed north of
Lima Ohio by Bill Arnold and it is his son Ross in the picture with it.
The other nice buck was killed by Ron Wilson near Buckland Ohio.

As you can see I work with some great deer hunters!
Out of the forty or so employees at work 90% deer hunt, three have
killed  Buckeye Big Bucks, one is a committee member. But alas only a
few part time duck hunters, I'm trying to convert more!

CAPT.MARK WITH TWO DEER TAKEN WITH A MUZZLE LOADER
Here are some pictures if you want to use them. The first if of Val Wiemken with her big turkey taken on the last day of the 2002 season.  She shot the tom at 18 yards, after having it at 18 feet, but could'nt get a clear shot that close. It weight 25 1/2 lbs. and had a 11 1/4 beard.

The second picture is of her 13 year old son, Mat, with his first deer taken on the sixth day of the 2003 slug season.  He shot this deer at 130 yards walking with a 3" slug. He missed two bucks and a doe during bow season with a crossbow and then pulled this shot off.

The deer pictures are of myself from slug season, first day and the second is of my girlfriend, Val Wiemken, with her 2003 slug season buck, first morning at 10:35 a.m.  shot at 20 yards. JEFF KILLIAN
Shot this buck later part of the rut this fall, he came in with a doe
at about 12 to 15 yards when I took the shot, and only went about 30 yards
before he piled up. he is what he looked like when I got out of the
stand and walked up to him.  CHAD
here is a picture of my buddy matt (left) and myself with some monroe
county  muzzleloader deer. the 8 pter was pushing 240 lbs. had a great time

Here's a picture of three deer sheds I picked up on December 29 while muzzleloader hunting.  The one on the left is a fresh shed as you can see by the white base. Maybe a week old? That was a very nice 12 pointer, while the other was a 8 pointer from the year before when dropped.
